Historic Gardens
The gardens at the Chaffey-Garcia & Chaffey-Isle houses are continued works in progress. Showcasing a variety of flowers from iris to hydrangeas. All hand picked and sometimes propagated by our museum curator. A master gardener, Marsha Banks has incorporated a landscape of both seasonal blooms and drought resistant plants.

The Chaffey-Garcia House celebrates the history of Citrus in Etiwanda. It also shows period appropriate florals such as roses, exotic blooms like "shrimp" plants and other cutting worthy specimens. In Victorian times it was a common practice to cut fresh flowers for everyday living, as well as special occasions. Decorating a home meant using what was available to you. Planting items that could be used time and time again for both food and beauty made for perfect landscapes.

The Chaffey-Isle house has a bountiful showing of a vast variety of Iris. These iris will be split and divided for our guests to purchase. Our oldest variety of iris dates back to 1844 "Mme Chereau". Also featured at the Chaffey-Isle House is our "Australian" Garden. It is currently in development and our hope is that it will be ready for viewing as early as Spring 2025.
Orchard
Our Orange orchard located on the Chaffey-Garcia house grounds bare the most enjoyable fruit! Perfect for juicing! As an extension of fundraising, our oranges will be available for purchase when in season. Be sure to stop over for a visit!
